About Vehicle Solutions

The name of V-SOL has been synonymous with UK vehicle tracking and location for over ten years. We pioneered live vehicle tracking in the 1990's, and manufacture the finest vehicle tracking systems available for commercial use in the UK.

In The Beginning

During the early 1990's, software provider Credible Solutions were attempting to satisfy the needs of the Hong Kong Government by providing life support services for the construction of a new airport.

Communication between the UK and the new island could only be made via mobile lines which were scarce. Lines were almost impossible to access as they were consistently busy. This meant completing the simplest of tasks was time consuming and expensive. Not to be put off, David Isom, the founder of Credible Solutions addressed the problem by creating the first DOS PC program to send messages to mobile phones. The program was simple, using easy to create and edit batch files, communication was enabled using a standard low cost PC modem. The difference it made was astonishing as it was now possible to get messages through when the lines were busy. The money and time saved allowed the job to be completed on time and within budget!

TEXTING as it is now known has become the most used facility that the mobile networks have ever created.

This simple tool was born out of necessity and led to the formation of V-SOL a few years later. Since that time, many significant advances have emanated from the concept that providing answers to problems/questions is the way to help businesses improve. So successful were we, that in 1998 we became the first and still today (2007) the only, company to win TWO prestigious business enterprise awards in the same year!

From initial concept, design, and testing, through to final manufacture and delivery, we invest substantially to ensure the highest possible standards are achieved. Our computer systems serve us well in delivering precision on an ongoing basis.
